Chip Swetnam has been producing videos since before he knew what girls were. It didn’t matter anyway, because his main passion was, and remains, the moving image. While others celebrated grade school graduation with punch and cookies, Chip’s milestone took the form of a Cease and Desist letter from George Lucas. At the age of 15, he began producing and directing corporate videos for the Hyatt Hotel of Louisville, the Dana corporation and many other businesses in the area. He has worked for some of the biggest names in entertainment including Disney, Universal, NBC, ABC, CBS and more. Chip is a fan of all types of media, and has extensive experience producing and shooting documentaries, feature films, television and radio programming, corporate videos and infomercials. He has an uncanny ability to connect with talent and draw out their best possible performance, and brings a sense of calm and ease to the set. He is the founder of the National History Foundation, a non-profit public charity dedicated to preserving video recorded oral histories of the “American Story”, and takes great pride in assisting other worthy causes in their efforts.
